The Super Stack started out as a Hotel-based No-Limit Hold'Em tournament with a deep 20,000 chip stack and standard 30 minute structure, typical of the era when big tournaments were running with 10,000 starting stack and 30 minute blind levels. The Tournament quickly established itself as a popular event on the monthly London Poker Circuit and was operated in prestigious Hotels around the City before Circuit Gaming joined forces with 888poker.
